MNANGAGWA IS CEMENTING HIS POWERS, using the demotion by promotion tactic on Gen Chiwenga, retiring him in preparation for a Vice president post.
It is obvious that Mnangagwa is cementing his powers by retiring all key securocrats. This means they are now senior post wise but in the reserve force and not as powerful as the contingent that removed Mugabe from power and installed Mnangagwa as the president of Zimbabwe. Rtd Gen Chiwenga who led the coup against Mugabe is widely predicted to be picked as one of Mnangagwa’s deputies. To the Discerning eyenewzimbabwevision, as soon as this happens we can fully accept what I have warned you about all along people of Zimbabwe that Zimbabwe will be a fully militarised state. However the Rtd general may be excited about the post of Vice president but Mnangagwa would have fully stripped him of any power as once out of the barracks he will never be in a position to lead the military against any leading regime, in this case the Zanu pf regime.
